Wine Workshops With JC Viens

JC Viens’ workshops continue at Vins de France.


JC Viens, a professionally qualified wine educator and holder of the prestigous Diploma Level 4, WSET and Bordeaux Wine School Educator, will be conducting wine workshops to help wine students understand their raison d’être from different regions.

In these workshops which will be conducted over 3 separate sessions, JC Viens will cover Argentina wines on January 31, Bordeaux wines on February 2, and Chilean wines on February 27.  The workshop format will follow an introduction to the region, climate, key grape varieties and wine-making techniques. It will also include a guided tasting of a wide range of wines from that particular region to help students develop a better understanding about the various characteristics influencing the styles of wine found in different countries.

Classes are kept small and limited to 20 people.  This is a great way for wine lovers to spend Saturday afternoon, so come along by yourself or bring a friend with you and meet fellow wine lovers.

  • 23 January 2010 Argentina & the effect of altitude on wine flavours
  • 6  February 2010 Bordeaux & the concept of vintage variation
  • 27 February 2010 Chile & organic wines

How much?

  • HK$480 per person. Class size is limited to 20 persons
