The Fine Wine French Auctioneers (FWFA) holds their third auction in Hong Kong on 18 & 20 April 2013 at The Excelsior Hotel. Titled The Different Spring Auction 3, the two-day auction offers 966 lots from highly esteemed châteaux and private cellars in France. The auction will interest fine wine collectors as these wines aren’t released on the open market, nor are they available through resellers.

Beertopia: Beer Festival at West Kowloon Waterfront

HK’s major beer party returns for its second consecutive year.

Great news for beer lovers! Beertopia, Hong Kong’s largest craft beer festival is back and this time it’s gonna be even bigger and better this year!

This year, Beertopia is divided into 2 sessions, the afternoon and evening sessions and is held at a much larger venue than last year’s Western Market, on the waterfront overlooking Victoria harbour at West Kowloon Cultural District. Over 200 beers from around the world are featured (Belgium, Scotland, Norway, Japan and Singapore, for example), up from its offering of 94 beers the previous year. These include various styles of beer, ranging from lagers to ciders, ambers to stouts.
