Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair, 10 – 12 November 2016

Asia’s premier wine event by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair, is back this November featuring more than 1,000 exhibitors from 34 countries and regions. Aside from a wide variety of liquor and beverage products, there will also be showcase of wine accessories and equipment, bakery and dairy products. Wine investment and services such as wine education will also be spotlighted.

Highlights of the trade only show include Orange Wine from Bulgaria, Hevron Heights’ Armagedon (made from grapes grown on the 950-metre high Judean Mountains in Israel) and canned Fiction White Chardonnay by award-winning winemaker Andrew Jones. For the first time at the fair, Slovenia’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food will set up a pavilion to showcase special wines from the country and offer wine tasting.

The fair will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Trade visitors can pre-register before 24 October 2016 to receive your admission badge (onsite admission fee is HK$100). The last day will be open to the public with a range of events including the Hong Kong Inter-University Wine Competition and master classes. Admission for public visitors on 12 November is by ticket admission.

  • WSET Master Class with Stephen Mack AIWS, FWS, CEO, Asia Wine Service and Education Centre (11 November 2016, 11am to 12pm)
