More than 31 countries will be represented today at the Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair 2009. France will serve as the Partner Country for the event, which promises a schedule filled with master classes, wine-tasting sessions and other goodies.

Wine, beer, champagne, brandy, sake and many other types of spirits will be represented by hundreds of exhibitors. Food, glasses, industry equipment and information relating to every aspect of wine will all be a part of the fair, which offers three different incentives.

The Corkage Free Promotion is accessible to anyone who presents a voucher you get with an admission badge or ticket at the Hall 3FG Concourse. This allows one bottle of wine corkage fee waived who dine in participating restaurants any time from today till 8th of November. The Courtyard Marriott Hong Kong, The Lanham Hotel and Le Meridien are only a few of those participating in this promotion.

In addition to the Corkage incentive, 9 buffet dinners for two will be given out in a series of Lucky Draw events. Winners will be announced on November 10. You can also earn up to 1,000 Asia Miles for buying wine or spirits from the exhibitors on November 6th, the day the fair is open to the public. So taste, sip, chug or drink – the wine bar is open all week long.
