A wine dinner of the best Château Pétrus vintages ever produced.
Shangri-La‘s Michelin-starred Restaurant Pétrus is hosting a wine dinner to top all wine dinners. The seven-course wine dinner will feature five of the best Château Pétrus vintages ever produced – 1976, 1985, 1990, 1995 and 2001 – in the winery’s 174-year old history.

A bubbly affair.

Piper Heidsieck is known for their high quality standards rigorously defined by Florens-Louis Heidsieck himself. Piper Heidsieck was founded by Florens-Louis Heidsieck on July 16, 1785, in Reims and made champagne from grapes sourced from 60 vineyards in the Champagne region.
On 28th January, the champagne house will be holding an auction dinner at Azure where Piper Heidsieck champagne will be served with dinner. Peter Kwong, Asia’s high ranking sommelier (Sommelier Championship 1997 in Paris), will be the guest speaker at the auction dinner. There is a lucky prize draw for 6 limited edition V&R design Rose champagnes and 3 boxes of 6 rare champagne glasses by Riedel.

Taste wine from the oldest winery in the world on January 18th.

Patrick Clerget is a family winery that dates back to 1268. It is considered the oldest Burgundy winery in the world as listed in the Guinness Book of Records. Mr.Pierre Louis Clerget, owner and Director of the winery, will be in Hong Kong to host a wine dinner with Maxford Wines at Xi Yan Private Dining restaurant on January 18th.

New Zealand wine paring dinner at SAGANO for one-night only.

Hotel Nikko is hosting a wine dinner on January 7th at their Japanese restaurant, SAGANO featuring a series of recent vintages of Wither Hills paired with Japanese cuisine prepared by Chef Masahiko Noka.
Wither Hills comes from the New Zealand winery based in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley that has a dedicated viticultural team led by Rex Butt. The winery is known for their Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir made from top quality fruit that is harvested at optimal ripeness and flavour.

Bordeaux’s finest at WHISK for 1-night only.

The Mira Hong Kong is hosting a wine dinner on December 9th at WHISK (5/F of The Mira Hong Kong) that will feature some fine vintages from the Château Smith Haut-Lafitte paired with a dinner by Chef William Girard.
The dinner will be hosted by David Ornon of Château Smith Haut-Lafitte, who will also talk about the wines over the five-course dinner.
Château Smith Haut-Lafitte is one of the leading estates in the Graves region. In 1990, it was bought by former Olympic skiing champion Daniel Cathiard who fully modernised the winemaking facilities and turned efforts to organize and slow natural fermentation in underground cellars.
