Asia In Focus At Annual Wines Of Chile Awards

Asian judging panel for tenth year of industry awards.

The growing importance of the Asian wine market for New World wine producers was marked in Chile earlier this month as the Annual Wines of Chile Awards (AWOCA) was judged by an almost all-Asian panel.

Six judges from Hong Kong, China, Korea and Japan were joined by three Chilean judges to blind taste 615 wines and award them Gold, Silver and Bronze medals as well as special awards for the Best in the Category.
