Zachys Last Auction for Spring is This Saturday on 21 May 2011

The last auction of the season.

Zachys May Hong Kong Auction is happening on May 21 and will feature nearly HK$50 million worth of the world’s finest and rarest wines. Highlight wines to go on auction are 71 lots of pristine First Growth Bordeaux wines in their original wood case from a New York collection and Burgundy wines. Wines includes the extremely rare Le Pin 2000, Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1996 and Chateau Petrus 1998 and 2000.

Bonhams Spring Wine & Whisky auction offers up a wide selection on 24 May 2011.

US auction house Zachys sold over 99% of lots offered over the weekend.

Zachys‘ auction over the weekend, April 15 and 16, 2011, at the Mandarin Oriental, achieved sales of over HK$76 million and sold 99% of the 1340 lots offered for auction.  There were over 400 bidders from around the world who participated in this auction.
