Italian Wines on the Rise at Spectrum Wine Auction in Hong Kong

Two day wine auction achieves satisfactory results.

Spectrum’s Spring wine auction held on March 30th achieved sales of HK$34,841,396 beating all other auction records held by the auction house in Hong Kong.

Not only did the bidders (in person, online and over the phone) pay top dollar for Bordeaux and Burgundy wines as expected but there were some new and noteworthy records set for Italian wines.

Remy Martin Louis XIII Rare Cask Cognac Up For Auction

New auctioneer in Hong Kong brings a rare bottle to the HK market.

 Spink rolls in spring with its inaugural fine wine auction to take place In Hong Kong tomorrow, March 8th. The event will incorporate 380 lots of exquisite wines from around the world valued at over HK$6.5 million.

The key attraction of this auction is the bottle of Remy Martin Louis XIII Rare Cask Cognac, a first in Hong Kong with an estimated value of HK$150,000 to HK$200,000.
