Malbec is one of the trendiest grapes around – but who is leading the pack?

Most people have heard of Malbec but, rightly or wrongly, in recent years it’s Argentina that has put the fruity red grape variety back on the map. The history of this grape actually goes rather far back in the grapevines of time and it was Cahors in France, the birthplace of Malbec, that made it the wine of Kings and Tsars for around 2,000 years.
