To kick off its Spring Sale Series 2012, Sotheby’s presents the sale of two wine collections – The Classic Cellar from a Great American Collection Part IX and Finest & Rarest Wines.
The sale of The Classic Cellar from a Great American Collection Part IX will take place on March 31. The collection holds not-to-miss quantities of mature Bordeaux, prestige cuvées Champagne and some of the most high-in-demand Californian wines from the Harlan Estate, Opus One and Joseph Phelps.
The second sale will happen on April 1st and includes over 200 lots of investment-grade Bordeaux directly from the Bordeaux Winebank Collection and wines coming directly from the cellars of three top-notch wineries - Château Angélus, Louis Roederer and Colgin Cellars.
The two sales together will offer over 1100 lots with an expected amount of HK$40.8-57.3 million.
