Spanish flavours set to infuse Hong Kong on September 22nd.

Last year, the Spanish Trade Commission organized Hong Kong’s first annual Spanish Foods and Wines Festival and the response was nothing short of overwhelming. So, this year the festival is back and it’s going to be bigger and better than before.
This year’s festival involves the participation of over twenty-five Spanish food suppliers from Hong Kong and Mainland China, whose products represent the very best from the diverse regions of España.

The wine world turns its eyes to China’s growing wine drinkers.

In a few short years, a growing population of well educated, increasingly young Chinese have developed a taste for wine. The first solo project Yardbird by Matt Abergel of Zuma and New York City’s Masa has recently opened its doors in Sheung Wan.
Chances are you’ve already heard of it, as according to CnnGo and hordes of satisfied diners it is Hong Kong’s newest “it restaurant.” The concept is simple and refreshingly so. Good chicken parts on a stick yakitori done right along with some Izakaya favorites and all served up in a casual, fun atmosphere. However, simplicity aside, these guys take yakitori very seriously. That and the whole experience is elevated by an impressive wine list including Sake, Shochu and yummy cocktails.

IWC brings award winners to Langham Place Hotel for trade event.

Up-and-coming Chateaus to watch out for from Cahors.
