An excellent vintage.
En Primeur or “wine futures“, is a method of purchasing wines early while a vintage is still in barrel, offers the customer the opportunity to purchase a particular wine before it is physically available.
Payment is made at an early stage, a year or 18 months prior to the official release of a vintage. A possible advantage of buying wines en primeur is that the wines may be considerably cheaper during the en primeur period than they will be once bottled and released on the market.

elBulli in Barcelona, Spain, has been ranked as the no.1 restaurant in the world for the past five years. It’s so exclusive that it only opens for six months of the year, seating fifty customers at one time.
Plans to close elBulli on 31 July has caused everyone who ever wanted to dine at this restaurant to scramble for a reservation and Uno Mas has secured bookings for their customers for Saturday, July 2, and Thursday, July 14th, for up to 50 people each day.

A summer wine auction.
Spectrum is hosting their Rare Wine Auction from 25-26 June at the Ritz-Carlton featuring three major single-owner collections.
The Pennsylvania Underground Collection from one of the east coast’s most famed cellars features large quantities of grand cru Burgundy in occ from top producers like de Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé and Domaine Leroy. This will be one of the most significant offerings from Araujo’s Eisele Vineyard ever brought to the Asian market.
