Marrakech’s legendary hotel reopens after major restoration.
La Mamounia is one of Marrakech’s most legendary hotels that was recently restored to the tune of US176 million under the watchful eye of acclaimed designer Jacques Garcia. Located close to the Souk and Madina with views of Koutoubia Mosque and the Atlas Mountains, La Mamounia is as Winston Churchill said in 1943 to Franklin D. Roosevelt; “the most lovely spot in the whole world”. It’s also the hotel that Carrie Bradshaw and her girlfriends stay in during Sex & the City 2 when they holidayed in Abu Dhabi (the move was actually filmed in Marrakesh.)

Grey Goose launch “Lovers of Film Series” in Hong Kong.
To celebrate the launch of Lovers of Film Series, Grey Goose threw a party at G Bar recently to kick-off the ceremony. Guests were invited to a private screening of Burlesque starring Christina Aguilera and a cocktail party that served up Grey Goose’s many cocktail concoctions.
