A new wine club in Central.

The Spring wine auction will kick off in March.
Christie’s Finest and Rarest Wines auction will take place on Friday, 4 March and Saturday, 5 March at The Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong.
The sale features 787 lots valued over HK$70 million (US$9 million) and comes from the Vintage Wine Fund, a cutting-edge wine investment established by Andrew Davison in 2003 and a connoisseur who remains unnamed. This auction offers a wide range of wines including rare pre-war vintage and large-format bottles to the most sought-after first growths like Latour, Lafite, Petrus and Margaux.

8th Estate releases new wines.
8th Estate has just launched their much- anticipated 2010 Australia Old Vine Grenache and Viognier. The wines are made from grapes from McLaren Vale, Australia, and the Grenache has already been listed as one of the top 6 wines of the 2010 HK Restaurant and Bar Show.
This is 8th Estate’s third batch of wine to be produced in Hong Kong by Master Vitner, Eddie McDougal. The production of these wines is limited and they sell out quite quickly so we suggest you contact 8th Estate early if you’re interested in purchasing any of these wines.

Spring wine auctions begin.
Spectrum Wine Auctions will hold their biggest wine auction yet in Hong Kong on Saturday, March 12, and Sunday, March 13, 2011, at The Sheraton Hong Kong.
The sale features an incredible collection of 1,768 lots of some of the world’s most sought after collectible wines, including the second installment of “The Doctor’s Pristine OWC Collection” and consignments direct from the cellars of Château Mouton Rothschild, Château d’Yquem and Compañia Vinícola del Norte de España.
