Wine dinner on August,13, 2010.

Peter Rawling from Spy Valley Wines and Nadine Cross of Peregrine winery from family owned wine company in Marlborough will host a 5-course wine dinner at steak house, Opus Grill this Friday. The 5-course menu is paired with 8 wines from Spy Valley and Peregrine.
Spy Valley Wines produces award winning Sauvignon Blancs and Pinot Noirs which have won rave reviews at International Wine Challenges events and praise from wine press and newspapers from around the world.

The Peninsula Hong Kong has started their Rosé Sundays at Gaddi’s where free-flowing Billecart-Salmon Rose Champagne is served with a four-course menu which includes marinated goose liver confit with rhubarb and hazelnuts, roasted lobster raviolo with fennel and Armagnac butter, Tasmanian poached salmon or Bresse Spring chicken with wild mushroom and Gaddi’s dessert.

A Graves Cru Classe producing Domaine.

Located in Leognan, capital of the Graves, the Domaine de Chevalier is located at the south of Bordeaux on the outskirts of Leognan. The estate dates back to 1763 and is now owned by the Bernard family in 1983, whose business includes French brandy and Millesima, a wine merchant selling Crus Classés from Bordeaux.

Winebuzz speaks to the award-winning wine-maker about what makes his wine so different.

Californian wine-maker Paul Hein was in town recently to promote his wine. The Napa Valley native is over six feet two and wears a cowboy hat, reminding us of television show Gun Smoke’s Matt Dillon, played by actor James Arness. Jokingly, Paul referred to himself as a “Redneck in Hong Kong!”

This is a single-owner wine colllection that belongs to the Wine Networks, a business division of Korean business giant, SK Networks whose business includes trading, natural resources, petroleum, telecommunications, auto-service and fashion.
