Christie’s To Auction SK Networks Wine Collection
Christie’s Hong Kong is auctioning SK Networks Collection on September 18, 2010.

The SK Networks Collection consists of over 400 cases of wine from some of the most renowned Bordeaux chateaux collected over many years including Lafite-Rothschild, Latour, Mouton-Rothschild, Margaux and Haut-Brion. This is a single-owner wine colllection that belongs to the Wine Networks, a business division of Korean business giant, SK Networks whose business includes trading, natural resources, petroleum, telecommunications, auto-service and fashion.

The sale is expected to fetch over HK$26 million or US 3.4 million and consists of the finest First Growths from the the top chateaux, said David Elswood, International Director of Wine at Christie’s Asia and Europe.
Highlights from the collection include:
- Over 80 cases of Chateaux Lafite-Rothschild from 1990-2006 with estimates exceeding US$85,000
- Over 60 cases of Chateaux Latour from 1990-2003 ith estimates exceeding US$45,000
- Over 20 cases of Chateaux Haut-Brion vintage from 1990-2003 eith estimates exceeding US$15,000
