Acker Merrall & Condit’s Imperial Cellar Auction Achieves HK$152 Million

The largest wine auction ever held in Asia.

Acker Merrall & Condit’s auction of “The Imperial Cellar” wine collection made an astounding HK$152 million (US $19.5 million) with 97.3% of the lots sold over the weekend. The auction was held at Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong on May 28 and 29 and sold a total of 1,820 lots and more than 19,000 bottles.
