Bonhams Hong Kong 2010 Spring Fine & Rare Wine Auction set for May 27th, 2010.

Bonhams, one of the world’s oldest auctioneers of fine art and antiques, will be running their second Fine and Rare wine auction in Hong Kong next month.

This auction offers a compilation of sought-after and cult wines that make great additions to any oenophiles’ cellar. The auction offering includes a private collection from a renowned Asian family featuring Bordeaux 1982 wines including Petrus, Latour, Mouton Rothschild Margaux and Haut Brion.

Some of the wines offered for auction include;

• 5 Jeroboam of Mouton Rothschild 2000 “Augsburg Ram”
• vertical sets of Le Pin stretching from 1979 – 1992
• extremely rare Methuselah of Romanee Conti in its banded original wooden case
• a case of the legendary Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1982, estimated at HK$234,000 to $312,000
• Shiraz from Torbreck, Clarendon Hill and Standish
• a single bottle of Riesling 2005 Trockenbeerenauslese Scharzhofberger from Egon Muller, Germany
