Amber’s Epicurean Series in Hong Kong

Two-star Michelin restaurant showcases its fares.

Amber is celebrating food and wine in a big way this Spring, its restaurant manager, Thomas Comberscot, announcing that they are putting together a series of intimate dinner designs especially for food and drink aficionados.

The Epicurean dinner will be an intimate affair limited to 20 guests at Amber’s Private Wine Room with a special menu created by Executive Chef Richard Ekkebus. Each dinner starts with an hour-long aperitif where visiting winemakers and masters will introduce wine pairing bottles to guests on March 4, April 14 and 17, 2010.

March 4: Paul Herman and Philiippe Maurette to introduce wines from Domaine Arnoux/Lachaux & Chateau Climens. Priced at $HK$2,888 + 10 % service charge

April 14:  Six-course Spanish Wine Dinner with celebrity winemaker, Spaniard Alvaro Palacios. Priced at HK$3,488

April 17: Six-course Sake Dinner with Sato No Homare sake. Priced at HK$2,388
