Seasoned wine lovers of course will know from experience that real wine appreciation takes patience, an education of mind and, of course, the senses. The one downside to this growth can be that the more you to learn to appreciate wine, the more appealing older and more mature wines become…and the younger wines considerably less so. Hong Kong’s first Single Malt Whisky pairing dinner.

The first of its kind in Hong Kong, the Glenlivet Whisky Dinner sees chef Imai Masakazu from Inagiku fine Japanese restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel present a five-course meal pairing to a variety of vintages from the Glenlivet’s range of Scotch whiskies. Darren Hosie from Glenlivet commented that, with structured, well-balanced dishes, diners will be able to appreciate the range of Glenlivet vintages that complement and enhance each plate.
The menu is only available until Chinese New Year Eve, February 13 so for those looking to book, three days in advance is required.

A Tuscan affair in Lang Kwai Fong.

Italian Wine Merchants (IWM) has collaborated with Executive chef Mario Carlino at di LUX to design a special dinner pairing menu inspired by Toscana and featuring top wines from Tuscany. This is a one day only event and consists of a five course menu with eight tasting wines.
