Arrogant Frog will soon prove that French wines can be both modern and traditional, bringing bottles to Wellcome and Market Place supermarkets in Hong Kong. On the 19th of November, beginning at 7:00pm, a cooking class and winemaker dinner will be hosted by Jean-Claude Mas (grape grower and ex-racecar driver) and Maxim’s Group Senior Executive Chef Simson Kwan.

The Arrogant Frog wine made a splash on the spirits market in 2004, proving that French wine can still quench thirsty drinkers. Thanks to his unique brand of wine, Jean-Claude Mas became the first French winemaker to earn the Entrepreneur of the Year award given by Ernst & Young. His teaching session will reveal some of the success secrets behind his high-selling wines. The dinner which follows the session includes grilled tiger prawn salad, Chilean sea bass, beef cheek cassoulet and crème brulee served with fresh betters – not to mention White Sauvignon Blance, White Chardonnay-Voignier and Red Caernet Sauvignon-Merlot from Arrogant Frog. Many other tastes in wine and food will be featured.

Want to enjoy the event for yourself? It costs only $398 per person with any purchase of Arrogant Frog Wine from Wellcome Supermarkets and takes place at Lawry’s the Prime Rib in Lee Gardens. For information and to buy tickets, call Annie Sin at 2299-3458 or 9612-1777.
