Meet the vineyard’s own Lisa Daysh of Bridge Pa Vineyard next week.

AtStyle Wines is organizing a special wine dinner for Bridge Pa Vineway at The Luxe Manor’s fancy modern Italian fine dining restaurant - Aspasia.
To those not familiar with New Zealand wine, Bridge Pa Vineyard is New Zealand’s only wine producer dedicated to producing Syrah on their 13 hectare vineyard located at Hawke’s Bay in North Island. This commitment, combined with the unique soil found in these terrains, is the reason Bridge Pa’s wines are sought after by wine connoisseurs around the world.

Tucked away at 39 Kimberly Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, The Luxe Manor in itself is a real delight to discover. Be prepared to be transported to a surrealist world with Dali inspired art and quirky interior and details.
To kick-off the evening, Lisa Daysh will introduce wines produced from her vineyard at a wine tasting at the jazzy Dada Bar. After that, head-on down for dinner at Aspasia on the 2nd floor where you certainly won’t be disappointed. Chef Poli has designed the menu to perfectly pair with Bridge Pa’s wines (below) so book now as seats are limited.

The Lee Gardens in Causeway Bay is no longer just a place to enjoy fine wines – now, you can learn about them, too. Berry Bros. & Rudd are expanding The Fine Wine Centre to incorporate a new area, giving students more space. As part of the expansion, new instructors will be coming on board to offer all-new courses.
Located just next to their Lee Gardens wine shop, the Centre hosts tastings, tutorials, Masterclasses and many different courses to help further wine education. The course list offers regional study, including the L’Ecole du Vin de Bordeaux Series. Macau’s wine and food show showcases the best Macau has to offer.

The Wine and Gourmet Asia 2009 exhibition this past weekend brought Macau’s wine and dine elite together for a 3-day trade event at The Venetian Macao. The organizers really pulled together the best that Macau has to offer in what we see as an exciting precursor to next week’s Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair.
The Venetian’s show floor was massive and brought out Portugese wine, food supplemented with great events and competitions to keep the attendees interested. While not a packed show, it allowed greater room to move around and visit all the booths and talk to the people behind the wines as well as rubbing shoulders with the chefs and sommaliers of Macau in a more easy and relaxed atmosphere.
We’ll be bringing you follow-up stories from Macau all week long so stayed tuned for more. In the meantime, have a look at our photo gallery of some of the sights at the show:
