Meet Wine Makers at the Australian Red Workshop

Alcove Wine Studio’s Australian wine workshop this Thursday.
Roy The Cattleman and Tim Kidman, CEO of Kidman Coonawarra Wines are guest speakers at the Australian Red Wine Workshop. They will introduce a variety of Australian reds from the Coonawarra region. Coonawarra is known for producing excellent reds like Carbenet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot and Viognier due to the rich red terra rossa soil, limestone, pure underground water and a long cool ripening season for the grapes.
The following wines will be available for tasting at the workshop:
- Kidman Coonawara Wines
- Somerled 2003 McLaren Vale Shiraz – 91 pts Halliday
- Wisanger Hills 2004 Carbernet Sauvignon
- Bundaleer 2006 Southern Flinders Shiraz – 93 pts Halliday
