Wooing Tree is a family owned vineyard that is situated in the heart of Central Otag, New Zealand. Specializing in Pinot Noir, their aim is to produce rich and intense fruit flavors from low yielding vines.  At the recent Wine Challenge, HOFEX, Wooing Tree 2007 Pinot Noir picked up the Gold Medal for Wine Pairing with Cantonese Cuisine.

Tasting note
The wine is produced with ripe handpicked fruit, evident as it is a complex and powerful wine. With aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries and Black Doris plums, it has a rich and silky-smooth palate, balanced with fine grainy tannins to match the fruitiness. This same acidity helps make it a great match with flavorful, even spicy, Cantonese cuisine.
